Our studio is nestled in a tranquil rural area of Sakon Nakhon province, where the favorable geography for indigo cultivation has contributed to the preservation of traditional dyeing techniques.

The land is home to communities and individual artisans who possess exceptional skills in botanical dyeing and handwoven ikat techniques, making it an ideal and feasible center for producing exquisite crafts.

Our production exists in a tight-knit community, situated on arable land in the Kut Bak and Waritchaphum district, where farming is the primary occupation of most residents.

Most of our craftsmen and artisans are subsistence farmers, and their livelihoods are closely tied to the agricultural cycles. During the rainy season (around April-October), much of their time is spent on planting and nurturing their crops. Once they have completed these tasks, they are able to return to their other skills such as crafting and artistry.
